Join us for a special guest presentation on home food fermentation by Crooked Carrot!

Crooked Carrot is a local foods fermentery, based in Ithaca, NY. Since 2011, Crooked Carrot has been making and selling naturally fermented products using fresh ingredients from local farms. Selling at natural food stores and co-ops throughout New York State, Crooked Carrot has grown its fermenting repertoire from traditional kimchi, sauerkraut, and dill pickles to more unusual ferments such as louisiana-style hot sauce, apple kraut, and el salvadoran curtido.

Aspiring chefs, food preservation enthusiasts, and the generally curious will want to attend this event!
