In 2013 CCE Wayne was awarded the Neighborhood Health Status Improvement grant from the Greater Rochester Health Foundation. This grant focuses on improvement projects as they engage neighborhood residents, complete an asset-based assessment of their community, and carry out small-scale projects in their neighborhoods. Support is received from the Asset-Based Community Development Institute at Northwestern University. This initiative is happening in Galen, Clyde, and Savannah.
