While this year’s tour gardens are beautiful and innovative, some aren’t exactly “kid friendly” in design and composition. Strollers are not recommended. If you bring children along, please keep them with you at all times. Visitors are expected to treat all hosts property with respect.

Please be aware that walking surfaces at tour sites may not be level and there is risk of personal injury involved as there can be with many outdoor activities. When participating in our tour participants assume responsibility for injury they may incur while attending the tour and will not hold tour garden owners, Cornell Cooperative Extension, its staff or volunteers responsible.

No pets are allowed on this tour. If you bring food/beverage to tour sites we ask that you take containers with you when you leave . Also, public-use bathrooms will not be available at tour sites, so plan accordingly.

Tour site owners do not benefit financially from the tour however proceeds from the tour help support our Master Gardener Community Horticulture programs here in Wayne County. Master Gardeners use their experience gardening in Wayne County along with training from Cornell University staff to bring unbiased research based information to consumers helping them be more successful in their home gardens and landscapes.
