Featuring dry bean production updates plus an evaluation of the Cornell dry bean variety trial

Dry bean growers are encouraged to attend the 2023 NYS Dry Bean Growers Meeting on Wednesday, March 22 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm at Cornell AgriTech (630 West North St, Jordan Hall Second Floor Auditorium, Geneva, NY 14456). 2.0 DEC (categories 10, 1a, 21, and 23) and CCA credits will be available. Attendees are encouraged to stay through lunch and attend the Dry Bean Cutting at 1:00 pm to visually evaluate and taste the 2022 dry bean varieties that were canned.

Cornell Vegetable Program Dry Bean Specialist, Margie Lund, shares, “We are excited to be back in person this year to share our updates on dry bean research in New York, and to combine this year’s meeting with the annual Dry Bean Cutting so growers and industry members can see the results from the 2022 dry bean variety trial on the same day as the annual meeting. We hope to see you there!”
