Fruit and Vegetable Program (FVRx)

Join our FREE SNAP-Ed NY 6-month Fruit and vegetable prescription program (FVRx). Classes will meet twice a month. These classes teach nutrition education and provide food demonstrations, tours of the grocery store and/or farmers market, and physical activity breaks. Receive $32/month with our Fresh Connect MasterCard for fresh fruits and vegetables to be redeemed at Walmart.

Classes will be available in Wayne and Monroe County and in-person only in English or Spanish.

You must be 18 years or older to register and be able to commit to the full 6 months of classes. Registration is required before the class start date. 

Join our FREE SNAP-Ed NY 6-week Fruit and Vegetable Prescription Program (FVRx). In these classes, you will learn tips and tricks for eating healthy while saving time and money. Receive $15/class attended in vouchers to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables to be redeemed at local farmers markets and local food retailers.

Classes are offered online in English or Spanish, and in-person at different locations. You must be 15 years or older to register. Registration is required.
